We’ve just received the first issues of 2 new journals.

Sayyab Translation Journal is a brand new journal published in London.  It’s focus is Arabic-English translation studies.  You’ll find Volume 1, 2008 in the current issues section of our Periodicals Collection.

Communication Education, published by Routledge, is a quarterly journal that looks at communication instruction and learning.  Our subscription includes online access dating from 2002.  To access online issues, search for this title on our AtoZ Periodical List.

We’ve been getting lots of great new titles in for our reference collections, including these new sources for trade and marketing research:

Commercial Atlas and Marketing Guide maps states and counties in the United States with business data and population trends.  You’ll find it in our Reference Collection under G1019.R22.

The new edition of the UN’s International Trade Statistics Yearbook has arrived.  It will give you trade statistics both by country and by commodity.  It’s in our Business Reference Collection under HF1016.I66.

Handbook of Industry Profiles from Hoover’s Business Press (BUSINESS REFERENCE HD2328.H363) looks at major industries in the U.S.with current trends and rankings of major companies.

After almost 25 years, we have finally retired our antiquated security gate.  When you walk into the library, you’ll see a new gate that allows you to enter or exit through either door.    The front doors may now be opened automatically using the buttons located inside and outside the library.
