Stop by our front desk so that we can set up a library account for you. Your student ID card is also your library card. Bring that with you so that we can set up your borrower’s account.
Ask for a library tour. If you missed a tour during Orientation Week, just let us know. We will be happy to arrange a tour at your convenience.

Starting today, the Library will be open until Midnight Sunday – Thursday and 10PM Friday & Saturday. From now through Tuesday December 13 (the last day of Fall Semester classes) we will be open:
Monday – Thursday 8:30AM – Midnight
Friday 8:30AM – 10:00PM
Saturday 10:00AM – 10:00PM
Sunday 10:00AM – Midnight

As we remember the life of Professor Garrett with a special celebration in the Irvine Auditorium on Sept. 15 at 12:15, the library is featuring a display of his many books and articles. Stop by our front lobby to see this selection of works from our Faculty Authors collection and our archives.
If you are a new student, there are a few things you can do early at the library:
As soon as you have your new student ID card, stop by our front desk so that we can get your library account set up. Then you will be all set to borrow materials.
Attend a library tour – there is a general tour every Monday & Wednesday at 3:30.
Set up your interlibrary loan account – we can get you books and articles from other libraries when you need them.
