Today we introduced Photo Story 3 in Professor Lisa Leopold’s class. Professor Leopold gave the students a task: come up with a theme and create a persuasive story by using Photo Story 3, a digital storytelling software for Windows. We gave a short presentation about Photo Story 3 in class and answered students’ questions while they were trying out the software.
Photo Story 3 is where you can put your pictures together and bring them to life. By simply importing the pictures that you want to be in the story, and adding sound tracks, descriptions and motions to them, you will create a live slideshow that tells stories!! Photo Story 3 does not work for Macs. However, there is a similar software that Mac users could use: PulpMotion. PulpMotion is a digital storytelling software that is designed for Mac.
