The Digital Learning Commons supports the Monterey Institute community in the pursuit of academic excellence and digital media fluency. We promote creativity and reflection and assist students, faculty, and staff in the development of projects for academic, professional and personal purposes. Through peer-driven teaching and learning, we encourage innovation and seek to create opportunities for discovery and collaboration within our community.

Weekend usage by appointment only
Procedure to weekend use:
E-mail Bob Cole [bob dot cole @ miis.edu] to inquire about weekend access. In your e-mail include the following information:
- First and last names of students planning to use the Commons
- Dates and times of planned use
- Purpose for use
We will confirm availability of the Commons within one business day. You will be required to check-in with Campus Security and agree to our community ‘terms of use,’ to help keep the Commons in ship shape!
