The Team Peru practicum is now available as a course option for 4 elective credits for GSIPM students. Working in an immersive education framework alongside the Andean Alliance for Sustainable Development (AASD), an NGO founded by MIIS alumni, students will have the opportunity to continue the grassroots community projects and to analyze the elements of community-led development through various stakeholder participants in the Peruvian highlands.

Following the J-term practicum, students can enroll in the Community Social Change Spring workshop (MPAG 8555) that will be co-taught by Professor Alfredo Ortiz and the AASD to apply their experiences from working in Peru or other parts of the world and to gain a deeper understanding of participatory development.
