The Kony 2012 movement led by Invisible Children has caused a social media frenzy. Initial impressions are that Kony 2012 is a well founded cause aimed at promotingawareness aout a  ruthless leader who has been using his terror group, the Lords Resistance Army, to masacre villages and abduct children to be be slave laborers and child soldiers. However, there has been a great deal of criticism surrounding Kony 2012 and the Invisible Children organization. There are a range of arguments used by critics to include Invisible Children’s miss allocation of financial resources, Kony’s predominant involvement in the Congo and Sudan rather than Uganda, and even Invisible Children’s choice in organizational name.
