Pre-Bike Week activities

Now through May 14 – Are you a cycling  fashionista?  Wanna play at being one?  Show us some bike fashions, rooted in your home geo location.  For the chance to win prizes in Dress-Up Challenge, send a photo by May 14 of you or a friend on a bicycle, “dressed up.”  Then bike that way, one or more days, during Bike Week. 

Now through May 15 – Rusty, dusty bike?  No more excuses.  $10 bicycle safety check and minor tune-up from local bike shops.  Get rolling!

Don’t have a bike and on a tight budget? Start by picking up a used one (e.g., off Craigslist or elsewhere), then take it to a local shop for that $10 service through May 15.  Chances are you’ll love biking again so much that you’ll re-visit the bike shop later to see if you can swing a new bike that suits you even better.
