The Army War College has just published GSIPM Associate Professor and MonTREP Senior Researcher Jeffrey M. Bale’s 160-page monograph, Jihadist Cells and “IED” Capabilities in Europe: Assessing the Present and Future Threat to the West, in its Strategic Studies Institute monograph series. This study was originally produced in connection with a larger academic research initiative sponsored by the U.S. Department of Defense’s Joint Improvised Explosive Device Defeat Organization (JIEDDO), and reflects the individual opinion of its author rather than the official views of the sponsoring agency or the publisher.
